Dollars for Scholars is our main fund raising event of the year.  Each year, AAUW members sell raffle tickets, provide silent auction items, bake sale items, book sale items and a luncheon for the purpose of raising funds for our annual local women's scholarships.

This year our event will on held on May 19, 2007, Saturday.   Contact our EF Chair for more information.

Here are the 2006 Scholarship Recipients:

Cindi Miller-senior at Eastern Washington University.  She is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English with a secondary education certification and a Bachelor's degree in crative writing.  Her career goal is to teach high school students in a rural or underprivileged area.

Kelly McGinty Pritzl-senior at Gonzaga University.  She is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.  She also intends to complete the family nurse practitioner program after working in a local emergency department for a few years.  Her career goal is to own her own family practice and once she is a certified RN, she would like to volunteer with Doctor's Without Borders, assisting people in Africa and South America.
